16th Pan-American Conference of Traffic and Transportation Engineering and Logistics, Lisbon, Portugal, 15-18 July 2010

The PANAM is the most important conference on transportation at the Iberian-American context. It has been organized for more than 25 years, and gathers technicians and researchers from all over the world, with a strong participation from South America, Portugal and Spain.

12th World Conference on Transport Research, Lisbon, Portugal, 11-15 July 2010

The World Conference on Transport Research (WCTR) is organized every three years under the authority of a permanent body, the WCTR Society. It brings together managers, policy analysts, advisers, operators and academics, all with a common interest in promoting state of the art and state of the practice in all areas of transport research.

This conference will be hosted by Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST), the largest and most reputed school of Engineering, Science and Technology in Portugal. R&D at IST is performed in institutes, research centers and research groups, among which CESUR, Centre for Urban and Regional Systems, at the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture, where the group of researchers organizing the Conference belongs.

15th International Symposium on Logistics (ISL 2010), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 4-7 July 2010

The Symposium is organized by the Centre for Concurrent Enterprise, Nottingham University Business School, University of Nottingham, UK in conjunction with Nottingham University in Malaysia and the University of Padua. The 15th International Symposium on Logistics aims to provide a forum for discussion between leading academics, researchers and practitioners who specialise in the area of logistics and supply chain management and to promote excellence in this field. The chosen theme for ISL2010 is “Configuring Next Generation Supply Chains”. This theme represents an emerging and highly challenging area of research and practice for both academics and practitioners alike.


Contributed papers may deal with any topics related to supply chain and logistics design, organisation and management, decisions support systems and communication technologies, e-business, green logistics, supply chain performance assessment, etc.
